John R. Brandes, Ph.D. Psy4978
A licensed Clinical Psychologist with over twenty years of
practice in his field. He has been a community Mental Health
Department Administrator for a Bay Area County. He has
written successful proposals for state-funded mental health
programs for local governments. He continues to manage
a large private practice treating adults for individual and family
matters. He evaluates individuals, self-referred or by law firms,
and testifies in civil, forensic and labor code matters.

Primarily Dr. Brandes is a treating doctor who evaluates, treats and represents his clients' mental health needs.

He has experience in most diagnostic categories. He has consulted with and trained professional staff regularly
for twenty years as well as supervised clinic and psychology internship programs since 1977.

Dr. Brandes is a Qualified Medical Evaluator for the Industrial Medical Council of the State of California. He
performs numerous evaluations for injured workers and various referral sources, including treating doctors
and attorneys.

Within a range of evaluations he performs, Dr. Brandes is trained and experienced in the treatment of chronic
pain. He provides and participates in a multidisciplinary program.

Most important, Dr. Brandes will talk with you and provide his training and experience to assist you in
understanding the challenges you are facing.

Dr. Brandes may offer several different solutions to a particular problem. He will encourage you to choose
